Hi Everybody! I am Korina Branson-Jones and I am collecting items to send to Puerto Rico to help ease life while they recover from the hurricane devastation. These people are living in the most horrific conditions and no way to leave like those on the mainland.

I lived in Puerto Rico as a child. My husband and I got married in Puerto Rico. I have a very special connection with the island and its people. I stayed in contact with our wedding photographer over the past 7 years. He has sent a list of items that would be most helpful and lightweight to mail. He indicated USPS service is still running but a little longer than normal. Please see picture below for list.

Please let me know if you would be willing to donate items or even money. He has indicated he can provide proof of how the money is used. I will accept items at Little Sprouts Growtique – Children’s Resale in Branson West or I can arrange a time to meet you. His mailing address is also listed in the photos below in comments. Feel free to mail items directly to him if you like. I have complete faith he will distribute items to the most needy. His name is Saul Padua. He is currently making wash boards for people to use to wash clothes since there is no electricity. So money to buy supplies and such to make these wash boards would be greatly appreciate I’m sure.

I would like to get items together to be sent by Friday, Oct. 13th but will be accepting items and money on an ongoing basis. This is a long term relief effort. I have donated to One America Appeal but I know these items will go directly to the source. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you in advance!
